A New Era
of Investing

The modern investor's edge, in a market that no longer waits.

The situation

Right now, somewhere

A family office is deciding whether to put twenty million into a company it first heard of five days ago. Three people will look at it. One of them, maybe, reads the whole data room. The rest go on a summary, a gut feel, and the fact that the deadline is Friday.

This isn't a scandal. It's how most private capital in the world actually gets deployed: by sharp people, with too little time, forced to act on a fraction of what they'd want to know.

We think that's about to end.

The shift

This is about to change. Here's why.

Strip investing down and it's four jobs. Gathering the data. Reading it. Building the model. Making the call.

For the first time, machines are better than we are at all four. They read every page, not just the first ten. They don't get bored on page two hundred, don't fall in love with a deal, don't act on FOMO. They bring the same discipline to the dull deal as to the exciting one.

That changes who gets to invest well. For decades, real institutional diligence belonged to the firms big enough to staff it. A twenty-person office was expected to think like a two-hundred-person one, and simply couldn't. The gap was never intelligence. It was hours.

We're about to give those hours back.

The obstacle

So why hasn't anyone handed the machine the book?

Because you can't act on an answer you can't check.

Ask a general chatbot to underwrite a deal and it hands you something that looks flawless but is quietly, confidently wrong. It invents a source. It fills a missing number with a plausible one. It has no idea which parts it made up, and neither do you. Fine for a first draft. A career-ending way to advise a principal.

Trust is the whole thing. An investor doesn't want a smarter black box. They want a memo they can defend — to the family, to the board, to themselves at the exact moment the position turns against them.

Our answer

Why Veyris is different

We built it the other way around.

Veyris pulls the real filings and figures first, writes only from what it found, and checks every claim against the source before you ever see it. Every line traces back to something you can open and read yourself. When the evidence isn't there, it says so, instead of writing another confident page of guesswork.

We'd rather be right than impressive. The whole thing is built to say "I don't know" out loud — because an engine you can audit today is an engine you give more responsibility tomorrow.

Your philosophy

It doesn't replace your judgment.
It scales it.

Veyris doesn't just hand you its opinion. It runs on yours.

Before it looks at a single deal, you tell it how you invest. The principles you won't break. The questions your committee always asks. What "too expensive" means to you. Where you've been burned before. Start from your own house rules, or from the discipline of an investor you admire — the durability and margin of safety Buffett is known for, the reflexivity and broken regimes Soros hunts, or a panel of views argued against each other before a call is reached.

Then it holds that standard on every deal, every position, every review. No drift. No forgetting the rule that saved you last time. It's your way of investing, applied to the whole book at once.

Not a machine that invests instead of you. A machine that invests like you — everywhere, all the time.

The horizon

Where this is going

The AI analyst is only the first step.

First it researches for you. Then it watches every position you hold, day and night, and tells you the moment the story changes. Then it brings you the trades and the hedges with the reasoning attached, and waits for your yes. In the end: capital that researches itself, underwrites itself, and manages itself — with you holding the wheel and a complete record of every decision behind it.

We're building that whole engine, end to end. An investment operation that largely runs itself, and keeps you a step ahead of everyone still doing it by hand.

We're starting with the people the big platforms forgot. Family offices and boutique direct investors, sitting on enormous, patient, often multi-generational capital, with a handful of people to analyze it all. That's where the need is sharpest and the tooling is thinnest. It's also just the beginning.

Our conviction

The next decade of investing will be autonomous. Someone is going to build the engine underneath it. We intend to be the ones who build it in the open — where every answer shows its receipts, and nobody has to take our word for anything.

It's an ambitious mission with an uncertain outcome. We think it's one of the most consequential things anyone can build in direct investing.

We hope you
will join us!
